The 3rd Edition of Latino Voices in Tech™ will take place on Saturday, March 21, from 12–2 p.m. at the Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation in Detroit, Michigan.
Latino Voices in Tech™ was created as a platform to amplify leadership, innovation, and representation within Michigan’s growing technology ecosystem — especially for Latino professionals and other underrepresented communities seeking greater visibility and access to opportunity.
Through curated TED-style talks, the event brings together founders, professionals, students, executives, and community leaders for meaningful conversations about entrepreneurship, innovation, and impact.
This edition will feature keynote speaker David R. Medina Álvarez, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of LIVAQ. Medina is leading the development of electric off-road vehicles in Detroit and will share the realities of building and leading a startup in one of the world’s most competitive industries. His journey reflects resilience, vision, and bold leadership.
Latino Voices in Tech™ is more than an event — it is a movement designed to create space where the community can be seen, heard, connected, and inspired to lead in technology and innovation.
The event is free to attend, but registration is required: 👉 https://luma.com/wqcg05c3
Community members, business leaders, and organizations are encouraged not only to attend, but also to consider supporting the initiative as sponsors. Sponsorship helps expand access, representation, and opportunity for the next generation of innovators.
By showing up or investing in this platform, supporters contribute directly to strengthening Michigan’s diverse tech ecosystem and empowering future leaders.
Be part of the movement. Be part of the impact.
