Over the course of two days, the event will focus on the evolution of the licensing business and how brands are expanding their opportunities through the growth of franchises, the creator economy, artificial intelligence, and new consumer habits.

The conference program brings together international leaders to analyze a landscape in which intellectual properties no longer depend exclusively on television or film for growth. Today, series, characters, video games, influencers, and brands are developing initiatives that extend to licensed products, experiences, collaborations, and retail activations.

One of the highlights of this edition is the participation of companies linked to audiovisual entertainment, which find in LicensingCon a space to explore new commercial opportunities for their content. Studios, producers, platforms, and animation companies seek to extend the reach of their properties beyond the screen and generate new sources of revenue through licensing and product development.

In this context, The Creative Hub, a space created to connect studios, developers, and producers with potential business partners, is once again taking center stage. The initiative brings together Brazilian companies in animation, video games, and audiovisual production that showcase their intellectual properties through business meetings and networking sessions with agents, distributors, and other industry players.

The 2026 edition also highlights the growth of properties born in the digital realm. Content creators, influencers, and online communities are playing an increasingly important role in licensing, while manufacturers and retailers seek new ways to engage with younger, highly connected audiences.

Brazil once again occupies a strategic position within the regional licensing business. The size of its consumer market, the strength of its retail sector, and the growth of its entertainment industry make it a key arena for launching new licenses and forging business partnerships, for both local and international companies.

Over the next two days, Prensario International will provide special coverage from São Paulo, featuring the latest news from exhibitors, trends, agreements, and announcements emerging from one of Latin America’s leading licensing events.
