The stars always show up at the worldwide phenomenon known as WrestleMania. You can count Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs among those stars.
Detroit’s electric back was recognized among a group of famous names in attendance Sunday for the second night of WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
NFL players are no stranger to the wrestling world. 49ers tight end George Kittle is one of the biggest wrestling fans and was in attendance Saturday for Night 1. Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has made an in-ring appearance as have a pair of Philadelphia Eagles in Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson.
Don’t expect Gibbs to get involved in the ring, though it would be interesting to see what kind of skills he would have in the squared circle.
Gibbs will enjoy a full night of action highlighted by the Undisputed WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and John Cena.
