If you’ve wondered about a low-flying helicopter over parts of Boston this week, police want you to know there’s nothing to worry about. The helicopter is conducting several days of electrical power line inspections in Boston between Hyde Park and Logan Airport, according to the Boston Police Department. “The aircraft will fly at approximately 125 to 150 feet above ground level along a transmission line corridor running throughout Boston,” police said. Work began on Monday and is expected to continue through the week. Weather permitting, the flights will operate between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day. Police said the flights will briefly hover at each tower. It will also make two passes along the route, checking both sides of the lines.
