Mama Rabbit, the tequila and mezcal bar at Park MGM, will close permanently Monday, MGM Resorts International announced Thursday.

The bar specialized in tequilas and mezcals from across Mexico and featured a 4,400-square-foot space with a large double-sided bar, multiple rooms, live entertainment and roaming margarita carts.

MGM Resorts said a new concept will debut in the space during the first half of 2027. In the meantime, Park MGM’s other nightlife options remain open, including On The Record, Juniper Cocktail Lounge, Bet MGM Sportsbook & Bar, The Reserve Bar and High Limit Lounge.

Mob Museum distillery releases limited-edition bourbon

The Underground distillery at The Mob Museum has released 300 Stewart Reserve, a small-batch 100% corn straight bourbon whiskey, with a celebratory release party set for 8 p.m. Sept. 19 at the museum’s basement speakeasy, 300 Stewart Ave., downtown Las Vegas.

The 90-proof bourbon aged 37 months in new charred oak barrels and is available in a limited run of 1,047 bottles of 375 milliliters each, priced at $45.95. The distillery describes the whiskey as carrying notes of cinnamon, apple pie, brown sugar, oak, honey and leather.

Distillery Manager David Vondrasek will be on hand at the release party for a meet-and-greet. The evening also features live jazz by Coco and The Sidecars and a Gold Rush cocktail made with 300 Stewart Reserve, available through Sept. 20.

The Underground has distilled 100% corn whiskey moonshine since 2018.
