(The Insurer) – Marsh McLennan Agency has appointed Read Davis, former CEO of McGriff Insurance Services, to vice chairman of MMA, and Doug Hodo, former president of McGriff, has been named vice chairman of MMA’s Southwest region and chairman of McGriff.
Davis and Hodo joined MMA after Marsh’s $7.75 billion acquisition of McGriff from TIH in 2024.
Based in Atlanta, Davis brings more than 37 years of insurance industry experience. He will report to David Eslick, chairman and CEO of MMA.
Hodo will work alongside regional leadership to help drive priorities forward for the region, which consists of 34 offices across Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. Based in Houston, he will report to Matt Stadler, president of MMA.
