Last week was the Miami Dolphins’ one off weekend during the NFL’s 18 week regular season schedule. The team headed into their bye week with two straight wins and looking more like a competitive NFL franchise than they have at any point in the year. Sitting at just 4-7, Miami has had a rough season, but somehow could still make a late-season surge toward the playoffs.

It has been a strange year, with multiple losses that should have been wins, self-inflicted penalties and turnovers, an in-season general manager change, a trade of a major defensive starter, banners flying over the stadium, injuries, and younger players trying to adjust to the speed of the game. This year has been one to forget, though the Dolphins could turn it into one to remember.

This week, the Dolphins look to backup their wins over the Buffalo Bills and Washington Commanders with a third-straight victory, this time over the New Orleans Saints. How are fans feeling about the direction of the Dolphins? Our SB Nation Reacts survey is back to answer that question.

Week 13 fan confidence survey results

Our weekly SB Nation Reacts survey asks how confident you are in the direction of the Dolphins. This season started at 45 percent, fell as low as three percent in Week 7, and rebounded to 43 percent in Week 11 and 41 percent in Week 12. The bye week, however, caused the confidence to dip.

We are down to just over one-third of the fans thinking Miami is headed in the right direction. Now, it will be up to the team to perform against the Saints and see if the trust in the team rebounds – and potentially sets a new season high.

Miami Dolphins 2025 Season Fan Confidence Results:

Week 1 – 45%
Week 2 – 5%
Week 3 – 3%
Week 4 – 9%
Week 5 – 32%
Week 6 – 5%
Week 7 – 3%
Week 8 – 6%
Week 9 – 16%
Week 10 – 12%
Week 11 – 43%
Week 12 – 41%
Week 13 – 34%

This week’s national questions were all focused around the Thanksgiving and Black Friday, which obviously have already passed. It feels like a good time to take a look at the fan confidence results from around the AFC East. Starting with the Buffalo Bills, who are 7-4 on the season and in second place in the division, the weekly result have been as high as 76 percent of their fans feeling the team is headed in the right direction, but that was back in Week 3. They reached 75 percent in Week 10, but have cratered recently, sitting at just 12 percent as we head into Week 13.

Moving to the division leading New England Patriots, the fans are enjoying a surprising turnaround for the team. The Patriots are currently the top team in the AFC with a 10-2 record, a half-game ahead of the Denver Broncos. Last week, their fan confidence rate hit a season-high of 99 percent, but it dipped this week, falling to 91 percent.

The New York Jets round out the division, sitting at just 2-9 on the year and in last place in the AFC East. Their high-mark of the season was in Week 2, when 92 percent of the fans said they were headed in the right direction. Their low mark was in Week 8, when just 13 percent were positive about the club. Headed into Week 13, 62 percent of the fans feel like the Jets are headed in the right direction.
