NO. 8 OFFENSIVE LINE ROOM NATIONALLY
ITU’s Projected Depth Chart:
Left Tackle: Jalen Rivers, Markel Bell
Left Guard: Samson Okunlola, Lou Cristobal
Center: Zach Carpenter, Ryan Rodriguez
Right Guard: Anez Cooper, Tommy Kinsler
Right Tackle: Francis Mauigoa, Matthew McCoy
What PFF Says: “Not only is Miami’s offensive line good enough to earn a spot in this top 10, but it also has the upside to climb much higher by season’s end.
“Zach Carpenter will be starting at center after transferring from Indiana. He led all Big Ten centers this past season with a 1.9% pressure rate allowed”

ITU Thoughts: Miami’s offensive line may not be as good as the 2023 version, which featured Matt Lee and Javion Cohen, but it will still be a very good group.
Rivers is entering his second season at left tackle and he is continuing to improve his conditioning level to better handle the athleticism he faces out on the edge. Cooper and Mauigoa are massive offensive linemen who bring a physical presence to the right side of the line. Carpenter has big shoes to fill and is looking to step up his leadership this summer.
The fifth starting job on the offensive line will be decided by a competition in fall camp with talented players like Okunlola, Kinsler, McCoy, and Bell in the mix.
