A 15-year-old Michigan boy who was missing for 9 days was found safe on Friday evening in Chicago.
Glenn Brown had been last seen on May 7th, walking into a wooded area in Calhoun County, near Battle Creek.
He seemed to have vanished.
There was an extensive search, lasting for more than a week. It included the use of drones, K9 teams and volunteers.
The boy was captured at one point in a wooded area on a trail camera. He was also captured on a Ring camera.
His step-father told CBS 3 WWMT in Kalamazoo he’s disappeared before, but never for so long.
“He’s a smart kid,” Mike Music said, “He’ll hide anywhere he can and he’ll take what he has to get by.”
“He’s not dangerous to anybody,” Music added.
On Thursday, someone came forward saying they saw the boy getting onto a train to Chicago and that he was alone.
That was confirmed, and it was confirmed that he arrived in Chicago.
The Sheriff’s Office was notified by Chicago Police on Friday evening that he was found and was safe.
