Baseball fans get a double dose of MLB championship series postseason action on Monday, Oct. 13.
Game 1 of the National League Championship Series between the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers begins, while the Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners continue their American League Championship Series with their second game.
The No. 2 seed Mariners opened their first appearance in the ALCS in 24 years with a 3-1 road win over the top-seeded Blue Jays on Oct. 12. Can they go up 2-0 or will the Blue Jays’ high-powered offense awaken?
And in the nightcap, the top-seeded Brewers look to ride the momentum from their heart-stopping series win over the Chicago Cubs two days ago into their first NLCS in seven years. The Dodgers have had a couple more days off after advancing to this stage and look to continue their quest at a second straight NL pennant and World Series title defense.

When is the World Series 2025?
The World Series begins Friday, Oct. 24.
If the Brewers win their series over the Dodgers, they will host Games 1 and 2 of the World Series at American Family Field regardless of the opponent thanks to having the best regular-season record in baseball.
The Brewers’ first and only appearance in the World Series came in 1982. They’re one of five teams to have never won the World Series. The Dodgers, meanwhile, have won the World Series eight times and are the reigning champs. The Blue Jays were last in the World Series in 1993 when they won their second of back-to-back titles. The Mariners, on the other hand, are the only MLB team to never appear in a World Series.
