UFC Hall of Famer and 29-0 record holder, Khabib Nurmagomedov, has been embroiled in a series of legal troubles with the Russian government. Meanwhile, Conor McGregor, when he got word about this situation, rubbed salt on ‘The Eagle’s wounds by verbally trashing him. A recent tweet by an X account with the username ‘Karim Zidan’ revealed that Nurmagomedov was facing legal troubles on a number of issues, leading ‘The Notorious’ to retweet it with a comment only to delete it later.

“Scurry, rat, scurry,” wrote Conor McGregor. ‘Rat’ isn’t a term he’s using to describe his arch-rival for the first time. He called Khabib Nurmagomedov by that name ever since the news of his legal problems came to the fore. In another post a few days ago, Conor McGregor retweeted yet another post and captioned it: “#Conorwasright #payyourtaxes #deadrats.” It seems like the heat they have between each other may never cease to exist. Now, let us take a look at a couple of farewell-bidding fighters.

Michelle Waterson-Gomez and Andre Fili compete in their last fights

Michelle Waterson-Gomez showed great warrior spirit in her fight against Gillian Robertson, but couldn’t get past the Canadian contender, registering her 5th defeat in a row. Following that fight, she announced that she was ending her UFC journey and Dana White confirmed the news while getting a little emotional about witnessing a long-tenured fighter retire. “I love her, love her family and I wish her nothing but the best,” Dana White said during the post-fight press conference. On the other hand, the UFC CEO also confirmed that Andre Fili, who defeated Cub Swanson on the UFC 303 prelims, also had his last fight.

“This is Andre’s last fight. I don’t know what Cub’s gonna do,” Dana White added. In addition to that, the 54-year-old also addressed Anthony Smith losing to Roman Dolidze as well. he believes that these fighters could find a place among the UFC, transitioning from fighters to possible analysts. It remains to be seen how things pan out for Andre Fili, Cub Swanson, and ‘The Lionheart’, who already has a place among the UFC analysts. Now, in our final piece of news, The UFC CEO shed some words of praise following Alex Pereira’s emphatic win.

The UFC CEO calls Alex Pereira a “monster”

Alex Pereira has continued to rise in stature in the UFC with one dominant performance to the other. And of course, he always fills in whenever Dana White needs him to, and the 54-year-old acknowledges how good a fighter ‘Poatan’ has really shown to be. And guess what? White shared some pretty nice words for the Brazilian. “It’s incredible. I mean, that guy [Pereira] is a monster. Absolute monster,” Dana White stated during the press conference. However, Pereira wasn’t the only one who earned such kind words. A couple of featherweights did, too.

Dan Ige and Diego Lopes put on a great fight, and it was great because of the turmoil that the UFC 303 co-main event was in with the pullout of Brian Ortega just hours before the PPV went live. Those fighters surely deserved to get praised for stepping up on such short notice and that’s what Dana White did. “Pretty sure both of these guys [Ige and Lopes] had nagging little injuries, too… Didn’t give a sh*t. Came in and fought,” the UFC CEO added. Ige and Lopes have requested a match against each other at the Sphere. Will White oblige? That remains to be seen.
