At just 24 years old, Muhammad Mokaev is already considered by many to be one of the best Flyweights in the world, arguably the best athlete up 57kg. But for the undefeated phenom, this is only the beginning. Speaking from his training camp in Bahrain ahead of his return to BRAVE Combat Federation, Mokaev shared his bold vision for the future: becoming the #1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

“I see a lot of people recognize that I’m one of the best Flyweights in the world. But I believe I’m still young, I’m still not in my prime,” Mokaev stated. “I’m winning because of my hard work. I think once I get in my physical prime, like around 26 or 27, I’ll be even stronger and that’s when you’ll see the difference. I will be the pound-for-pound number one fighter in the world! When you’re going against the best in the world, you have to sacrifice everything. That’s what separates a champion from a non-champion.”

Mokaev’s confidence is rooted in his meteoric rise in MMA, marked by his perfect record and dominance in every fight. But his ambition goes far beyond remaining unbeaten. With his discipline and a relentless drive, Mokaev has his sights set on redefining greatness in MMA.

His next challenge comes on December 13, at BRAVE CF 91, taking place at Khalifa Sports City in Bahrain. There, he will face Luthando Biko, a seasoned South African striker known for his pace and high-volume attack. The bout promises to be a compelling clash of styles, as Mokaev’s grappling prowess and newly refined striking will be tested against Biko’s aggressive stand-up game.

The night will be headlined by the Bantamweight title fight pitting the champion Nkosi Ndebele against the challenger Nicholas Hwende. The card is the first of BRAVE CF’s end-of-the-year double-header, with BRAVE CF 92 taking place on December 15, also at Khalifa Sports City.
