After numerous patches to the current-gen (PS5, Xbox Series X|S) and PC versions of NBA 2K26, Visual Concepts has now released one for last-gen platforms.
Players on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch 2 should see a new client download available today, which will show up as NBA 2K26 update 1.04.
Don’t expect much from this patch, as for all intents and purposes, Visual Concepts has pretty much released the last-gen versions without proper support, given the studio’s focus on the current-gen versions of the basketball sim.
NBA 2K26 Last-Gen Versions Updated to 1.04
As expected, Visual Concepts has not released any patch notes for the last-gen version’s title update. This has been the case with NBA 2K25 as well, and we can’t say we’re surprised.
However, one thing we can be certain of is that this update does not include any gameplay adjustments, and it should house some of the bug fixes applied ot the current-gen versions.
