The 20th year of NBA summer hoops in Las Vegas continued Saturday with seven consolation games ahead of Sunday’s semifinals. Here’s a look at the players who closed out their Summer League with a bang:

Trey Alexander, Denver

An undrafted free agent out of Creighton, Trey Alexander scored 19 points with a team-high seven rebounds in the Nuggets’ 91-82 victory over the Pelicans. He also added three assists, a steal and a block to close out an outstanding five-game run in Las Vegas. Alexander was great at getting to his spots all week, showed an elite mid-range game and went 11-for-24 (45.8%) from 3-point range. Don’t be surprised to see him crack Denver’s backcourt rotation next season.

Taylor Funk, Washington

Funk capped an impressive Summer League with his best game yet. The sharpshooter scored 29 points on 8-for-18 shooting — including 8-for-16 from deep — with five assists and four rebounds in the Wizards’ 91-79 win over the Bucks. Funk, a 6-foot-8 foward who spent last season in the G League, has made a strong case for Washington’s final two-way roster spot.

Jaylon Tyson, Cleveland

Drafted 20th overall by the Cavaliers after a breakout season at Cal, Jaylon Tyson looked NBA-ready in Las Vegas. One game after falling just short of a triple-double, Tyson posted 23 points (9-10 FGs), five rebounds and three assists in a 100-93 victory over the Pacers. In five Summer League games, Tyson averaged 15.4 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists.

Keyontae Johnson, Oklahoma City

The No. 50 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, Keyontae Johnson filled up the stat sheet with 20 points on 8-for-16 shooting and nine rebounds, six assists and block. Johnson drilled a contested buzzer-beater before halftime and was the best player on the court in the Thunder’s 88-70 victory over the Mavericks.

Blake Hinson, Los Angeles

With Dalton Knecht and Bronny James getting the night off, undrafted free agent Blake Hinson got a chance to show off his range in the Lakers’ 107-81 win over the Bulls. In the first half, Hinson was 7-for-12 from the field and finished with 25 points — including five 3-pointers — to go along with three rebounds and two assists.
