NC State’s on a 37-19 run in a dominant second half.
DJ Burns, meanwhile, remains unstoppable. NC State leads, 58-44 at the last media timeout after a Burns drop-step and floater from the baseline.
Duke’s trouble deepens. Kyle Filipowksi just fouled out throwing Michael O’Connell to the floor. NC State leads 56-44 with 4:52 remaining.
Duke’s struggles from 3 (2 for 14) are playing a big role in its deficit right now. NC State’s up 54-44 with 5:16 remaining.
Guarding DJ Burns one-on-one is a shaky proposition.
The technical did not matter. NC State now leads 51-42 after a 3-pointer by Michael McConnell. Duke’s Mark Mitchell committed a foul while the shot was in the air too
NC State coach Kevin Keatts has been called for a technical after officials said the ball went out of bounds off NC State when it last touched Kyle Filipowski.
NC State is on fire.

Can NC State seriously win a ninth elimination game in a row and become the sixth No. 11 seed to advance to the Final Four?

Duke calls timeout with 11:39 to go. NC State has a 40-38 lead. DJ Horne and DJ Burns have scored the Wolfpack’s last eight points.
And on the very next possession, Kyle Filipowski draws Mohamed Diarra’s fourth foul and gets the lead right back for Duke.
This is getting fun.
Two free throws from DJ Horne have given NC State a 36-35 lead with 12:59 to go.
NC State has cut Duke’s lead to 33-29 with 15:11 to go in the game. The Wolfpack have made a few baskets at the rim this half after struggling mightily to get anything to go down in the first half.
