New listings, pending listings and closings all declined in Houston during the week ending April 27, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

Sellers added 3,633 properties to the market, down 10.1% from 4,043 new listings a year prior.

Pending listings, meanwhile, dropped 18.1%, with 2,140 properties going under contract, down from 2,612. Closed home sales declined 12.1% year over year, with 1,701 closings during the week, down from 1,936.

Property showings and listing views on HAR.com increased annually by 3.1% and 1.6%, respectively, but open houses declined 7% year over year, with 10,361 events during the week. That was down from 9,621 open houses during the same week in 2025.
