The New York Giants have waived wide receiver Ryan Miller, reports NFL insider Aaron Wilson.
Miller, a 6-foot-2, 221-pound veteran, joined the Giants last December when the team claimed him off waivers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was later re-signed as an exclusive rights free agent this offseason.
The 26-year-old former Furman standout spent most of training camp working with the third team. In the preseason opener, he played just nine offensive snaps and four on special teams. Against the Miami Dolphins, Miller saw increased action with 32 offensive snaps and six special teams snaps but was targeted only once and finished without a catch.
Originally signed by Tampa Bay as an undrafted free agent in 2023, Miller appeared in 25 career games with 14 receptions for 162 yards and three touchdowns. He also contributed on special teams, recording 14 tackles during his time with the Buccaneers.
Miller never appeared in a regular-season game for the Giants after arriving late in 2025. The move comes as New York starts to trim their roster ahead of the final cutdown to 53 players.
