NFL Draft prospects rate themselves on Madden

USAT’s Chris Bumbaca asks some of the top NFL Draft prospects what they would rate themselves in Madden after their rookie year.

Sports Seriously

The New York Giants hold heavy influence over the 2026 NFL Draft first round with two top-10 picks.

The Giants have a clear need at defensive tackle after trading Dexter Lawrence to Cincinnati for the No. 10 pick, but can build elsewhere with their Nos. 5 and 10 picks.

John Harbaugh’s first Giants draft can shape what his tenure looks like in the coming years, especially if the team fortifies both lines of scrimmage this weekend.

Here’s the Giants’ picks, selections and grades for the NFL Draft.

NFL DRAFT TRACKER: NFL Draft Round 1 picks, live instant grades, trades, tracker, updates

1st round, No. 5 overall | Arvell Reese, LB, Ohio State

  • Instant grade: A-minus
  • Analysis: Reese is a high-ceiling prospect whose versatility as an off-ball linebacker and pass rusher got Micah Parsons comparisons. But Reese should be able to maximize at both spots as a versatile front-seven defender under defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson who should quickly add up the TFLs and pressures in Year 1. His athleticism is off-the-screen. It’s not a knock-em-out A grade, but he could easily be the best player in the class by the end of his rookie year.

1st round, No. 10 overall (from Cincinnati) | Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami (FL)

  • Instant grade: B-plus
  • Analysis: Mauigoa is solid all around as a tackle whose body type resembles an offensive guard. I like Mauigoa’s consistency and movement; he’s not going to overwhelm on the edge, but I think he’s a 10-year starter at the right spot.

2nd round, No. 37 overall |

4th round, No. 105 overall |

5th round, No. 145 overall |

6th round, No. 186 overall |

6th round, No. 192 overall (from Miami) |

6th round, No. 193 overall (from Dallas) |
