Hockey fans and dog lovers, get ready for an event that promises to be nothing short of delightful.
The NHL is bringing back its highly anticipated ‘Stanley Pup,’ a special competition that trades skates for paws and slap shots for playful pounces.
This year, all 32 NHL teams will have an adoptable rescue dog representing them on the ice, celebrating the spirit of the Stanley Cup Final while highlighting the incredible impact of pet adoption. From Sidney Pawsby to Filip Fursburg, these canine “players” are set to steal the show and, hopefully, countless hearts.
The ‘Stanley Pup’ will feature appearances from celebrity dog lovers including Tim Allen, Cedric the Entertainer, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Bublé and Paula Abdul. NHL players like Troy Terry, Jaccob Slavin and Victor Hedman will introduce participating dogs, supporting local pet adoption efforts. Commentary will be provided by Mark Shunock and Chris Rose, with Michelle Gingras reporting rinkside.
How to watch the Stanley Pup
