The Lake Erie Crushers, 2009 Baseball Blvd. in Avon, will host Noche Latina on Aug. 8.
Noche Latina is a celebration of Hispanic culture and will serve as a fundraiser this year, according to a news release.
A portion of every ticket sold will allow the Hispanic Fund, an affiliate fund of the Community Foundation of Lorain County, to continue to award scholarships to Latino/Latina students throughout Lorain County, the release said.
The event will feature a quinceńera fashion show, DJ RoRo, the princesses from the International Festival in Lorain and plenty of Hispanic food and exotic adult beverages, according to the release.
The Crushers will play Florence Y’alls.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
The first pitch is at 7:05 p.m. and tickets are $14.20 apiece which includes all ticket fees.
Parking, food and drinks are not included with ticket purchase, according to the release.
“It will be a fun and festive night and plenty to do for the kids,” said Robert H. Garcia, president of the Hispanic Fund, in the release.
