Next year, the airline is expanding its offerings and will offer nonstop flights from HIA to Miami every Saturday from Jan. 10 to April 4.
Flights will depart HIA in Lower Swatara Township at 7 a.m. and arrive in Miami at 10:15 a.m.
Return flights will depart Miami at 8:30 p.m. and arrive at HIA at 11:59 p.m.
American Airlines also offers nonstop flights from HIA to Boston, Chicago, Charlotte, Philadelphia and Dallas.
The airport also announced the opening of a new restaurant. Yuengling 1829 Bar & Grill is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, serving wings, nachos, pretzels, omelets, salads, burgers, salmon, and grilled cheese, among other offerings. The bar also offers six varieties of Yuengling, beers on tap, bottles and cans, as well as cocktails, mocktails, and wine.
The restaurant is located beyond the TSA security checkpoint and is available to arriving and departing passengers only.
