O’Brien inked 10 players on offense, including an offensive lineman from Germany, 12 on defense and one specialist. Locally, Boston College brought in four players from the state of Massachusetts in a class that represents 14 states and two countries.

A running back from Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Ga, Sedric Addison totaled 14 touchdowns (eight rushing, six receiving) as a senior, which was best in Region 7 6A in Georgia. In addition, Addison registered over 900 yards of total offense in 2025. Addison earned Region 7 6A honors after his junior season. Addison also competed in track and field, serving as a State qualifier in the 100-meter dash as a junior with a time of 10.82. He also competed in the 200-meter dash, posting a 22.42 in his junior season as well.

Marcelino Antunes Jr. comes to The Heights as a four-star prospect ranked in the top-5 in the state of Massachusetts, and a top-75 offensive lineman recruit nationally (247Sports). A two-time Massachusetts MIAA state champion for Catholic Memorial, Antunes will compete for his third state title on December 6.
Femi Babalola

Femi Babalola arrives at Boston College as a top-25 quarterback nationally (ESPN). As a senior at Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn, Babalola threw 12 touchdowns and ran for six touchdowns on the ground. Babalola will compete for a state championship on Friday, December 5. In his junior season, Babalola had 10 touchdowns, totaling 1,152 passing yards while adding 144 yards and one touchdown on the ground. As a sophomore, Babalola added 10 touchdowns, registering 1,646 passing yards and 169 rushing yards with two scores on the ground. Babalola also competed in track and field, posting an 11.39 100-meter dash time and a 19 ‘7 long jump distance as a junior. As a sophomore, Babalola ran an 11.52 100-meter dash and a 22.84 200-meter dash.

A six-foot New England wide receiver, D.J. Biggins comes to The Heights as a top-5 prospect from the state of Connecticut (ESPN, Rivals). As a senior at the Kingwood Oxford School in West Hartford, Conn., Biggins caught a school record 57 passes for 880 yards and 7 touchdowns while adding a sack and an interception on defense. Biggins achieved 1st-team All-NEPSAC and 1st team All-Evergreen honors in 2025. In his junior season, Biggins caught a career-best eight touchdown receptions on 49 total catches for 871 yards while recording two interceptions on defense.

A 5-10 receiver from Jacksonville, Fla, Kelvin Brown Jr. recorded seven touchdowns as a senior at William Raines Senior High en route to Male Scholar Athlete of the Year honors. Brown will compete in the state semifinals on Friday, December 5. Brown played his junior season at Baldwin High School in Jacksonville, Fla, where he totaled 42 receptions for 825 yards and 12 touchdowns on offense, and 10 tackles, one interception and one pass breakup on defense. Brown is a two-time Gateway Conference Award winner. Brown also was a regional qualifier in the 100-meter dash as a sophomore, posting a time of 10.72, a 22.07 in the 200-meter dash and a long jump distance of 36 ‘5.

As a senior, Coellner completed 71.1% of his passes, throwing for 1,737 yards and 18 touchdowns. Additionally, Coellner added 583 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground, leading his team to a 9-2 record and an appearance in the sectional championship.

Mac Fitzgerald joins the Boston College Football program ranked as a top-3 prospect from the state of Massachusetts (247Sports). In his senior season at Catholic Memorial, Fitzgerald totaled 35 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, and two forced fumbles. Fitzgerald will compete for a state championship on Saturday, December 6. As a junior, Fitzgerald compiled 76 total tackles, including 30 for loss, and 10 sacks en route to a state title and First-Team All-State honors. In the spring of 2025, Fitzgerald was chosen to represent the New England Patriots at the Nike: Next Ones Summit. Mac’s father, Craig Fitzgerald, is Boston College’s Director of Football Performance.

Dominic Funke joins the Boston College Football program as a top-10 player from the state of Massachusetts (ESPN, Rivals). In his senior season at Xaverian Brothers High School, Funke totaled seven sacks and nine tackles for loss. As a junior, Funke won a MIAA Division I State Championship. Funke totaled 50 career varsity sacks and 100 career tackles for loss. Funke earned Catholic Conference Defensive MVP honors as a junior. In total, Funke has earned Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic honors twice, All-ISL honors twice, All-NEPSAC honors twice, and Massachusetts Super-26 All-State honors. Funke’s father, Jerod, played football at Boston College, and his mother, Gabrielle played two years of lacrosse and four years of field hockey at Boston College. Funke’s brother, Jack, completed his redshirt junior season as an offensive lineman at Boston College in 2025.

Green currently serves as the Vice President of his senior class. In his junior year, Green finished with 39 total tackles, seven pass breakups, two interceptions, one forced fumble, and one interception en route to a state championship. Green also competed in numerous track and field events, including the 200-meter, 300-meter, 400-meter and high jump.

Prior to arriving in Texas, Green Jr. played his high school football at Moore Catholic High School in Staten Island, N.Y. where he was ranked as a top-3 prospect in the state (Rivals). In two seasons at Moore Catholic, Green Jr. finished with 1,055 total yards of offense and seven touchdowns, as well as 136 total tackles, two interceptions, one forced fumble and one sack. Green Jr. also competed in track and field, posting a time of 11.2 in the 100-meter dash and a 22.2 in the 200-meter dash in the spring of 2025.

As a senior at Eaton High School in Eaton, Ohio, Hewitt made 11 field goals while adding 12 extra points. Hewitt owns the fifth-longest field goal in Ohio history after making a 57-yarder as a sophomore. Hewitt competed in the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2024, where he made 33-of-36 field goals, and was ranked as a five-star kicker and a four-and-a-half star punter. Hewitt is a two-time first-team All-Ohio selection.

Steve Klein, a 6-foot-2 linebacker from Westwood, N.J., comes to Boston College as a top-15 prospect from the state of New Jersey (ESPN). As a senior at Westwood High School, Klein recorded five interceptions, two pass breakups and two forced fumbles on defense en route to First-Team All-State honors. On offense, Klein scored 30 touchdowns. In his junior season, Klein rushed for 1,124 yards on 132 carries with 13 touchdowns on the ground, and nine catches for 159 yards and two receiving touchdowns. In addition, Klein added 81 total tackles and two interceptions on the other side of the ball. Klein ended his high school career as a two-time captain, a state champion and a three-time state Sectional champion that amassed over 300 career tackles and 3,100 rushing yards. Klein also played baseball and earned All-State honors on the diamond.

A three-sport athlete, Thompson played basketball and competed in track and field in addition to football. In his senior season, Thompson recorded 48 total tackles, nine sacks and five touchdowns. Thompson was the Missouri Class 2 State Champion in the triple jump, posting a 44’7 as a junior. In addition, Thompson placed third in the state in the 330-meter hurdles with a time of 39.39. In his sophomore year, Thompson was a Missouri Class 2 State Qualifier in the triple jump and 300-meter hurdles.

Werner ranks in the top five of all international prospects (247Sports). Werner joins Pape Abdoulaye Sy and Andy Quinn as current Eagles who matriculated through the NFL Academy.
