The Junction, a new entertainment venture by Georgetown-based Cooley Capital Companies, broke ground at 210 Blue Springs Blvd. on Nov. 13.

Representatives from the development, as well as local government officials, marked the first major construction milestone with a groundbreaking ceremony, featuring food trucks and bar pop-ups from the future vendors.

What is it?

The Junction will bring dining, event and work space across nearly 60,000 square feet of combined indoor and outdoor facilities, Cooley Capital partner Matt Marshall said at the Nov. 13 ceremony.

Scheduled to open in late summer 2026, Marshall said the development will include:

  • Five restaurants
  • Three full-service bars
  • Three pickleball courts
  • 9,000 square feet of covered decks and patios
  • A 5,700-square-foot grand dining hall
  • A live music stage
  • Several 25-foot LED screens
  • Private cabanas
  • Terraced synthetic turf space

The development also features an additional 30,000 square feet dedicated to flexible office space, which is slated to complete in the first quarter of 2026. Texas Tint, an Austin-based window tinting company, is the first business to lease office space in The Junction.

Several food vendors have signed on to the project and will open with the development next summer, including:

  • Waco-based King’s Chicken Wings
  • Wholly Cow Burgers
  • The Dough Joe pizza shop
  • Taconmaye Foodtruck & Kitchen
  • Georgetown-based Sweet Lemon Kitchen

100x Hospitality is the anchor operator for The Junction, and will manage day-to-day operations, such as private event bookings and customer care, Marshall said.

What they’re saying

“[I] can’t wait to see all these businesses out here thriving,” Georgetown Mayor Josh Schroeder said at the groundbreaking ceremony. “As the mayor who really likes to look at the budget numbers, I can’t wait to see all the sales tax dollars off these businesses.”
