We’re a few hours after Game 4 of the NBA Finals. I am still buzzing. That was one of the great comebacks in all of sports, not just in basketball history.
The Knicks were down 29. They were dead. But New York clawed back, inch by inch, while the young Spurs team went cold in the second half.
Jalen Brunson was masterful in his shotmaking late. OG Anunoby was a playoff hero with a tip-in for the ages.
Saturday is going to be another incredible game. Game 5. The Larry O’Brien Trophy will be in the building.
The Knicks can clinch the title with a win. The Spurs need a victory to send the NBA Finals back to New York for Game 6.
The Athletic will be with you every step of the way. We will see you then, basketball fans!
