COLUMBUS, Ohio — The 2026 college football season may not start until August, but those wanting to get a jumpstart on the action will have an opportunity to do so virtually through EA Sports College Football 27.
The game will let players step into the shoes of their favorite college players.
The developers have released team and player rankings within the game, and Ohio State took the second-place position. Well, they actually tied with Indiana for second with an overall rating of 90.
The Buckeyes offensive rating is sitting at a 92, and their defense at an 88.

Ohio State Wide Receiver Jeremiah Smith took the number one spot on the list, with an overall rating of 99. He’s followed by Indiana Left Tackle Carter Smith (overall rating of 97) and Notre Dame Cornerback Leonard Moore (overall rating of 97).
