Another week of NCAA Gymnastics, another round of accolades for the Olympians-turned NCAA stars. Many of the big names descended on Oklahoma City for the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad, including multiple Olympians. While the top teams battled it out in OKC, Olympians also collected titles in smaller dual meets.

The Highlights:

Though the No. 2 LSU Tigers ultimately lost to the Oklahoma Sooners in a meet dubbed a “national championship preview,” Aleah Finnegan shined for the second consecutive week, leading the defending champions over No. 6 Cal and No. 4 Utah.

The 2024 Olympian for the Philippines won the title on floor with a near-perfect 9.975, marking the highest score seen on the event in 2025. The NCAA Champion also delivered a stellar 9.925 to lead her team on beam, serving as a key factor in LSU’s sizable .350 improvement from week one. Heading into week three, Finnegan is ranked No. 1 in the country on floor, No. 2 on vault, and No. 4 on beam. Not a bad start to her senior season.

In the same meet, U.S. Olympic silver medalist (Tokyo 2020) Grace McCallum delivered a highlight for her Utah Red Rocks. The the Utes ultimately finished a disappointing fourth out of four, McCallum notched a huge 9.975 on bars to share the title with defending NCAA Champion Audrey Davis (Oklahoma). And that’s not all.

Also at the Sprouts Quad (but in a separate session), U.S. Olympians Jordan Chiles and Joscelyn Roberson put on a masterclass. Roberson looked like an NCAA veteran in her highly anticipated debut for the No. 8 Arkansas Razorbacks. The 2024 Olympic alternate and 2023 World Champion clinched a share of the all-around title, and contributed key scores on all for events for the Razorbacks.

Roberson’s highlight was a 9.95 on floor, where she showcased her trademark power with a massive double layout and front layout through to double tuck. While a massive 9.95 would typically clinch an event title, she came in second only to her Paris Olympic teammate.

In an effort that her No. 12 UCLA Bruins dedicated to the Los Angeles community, Jordan Chiles was nearly flawless in week two. Chiles finished top-five on all three of her events, with her top score coming on floor to edge Roberson (9.975). Along with her teams’ incredible effort, Chiles helped lead the Bruins to a quad meet win and the third-highest score in 2025 NCAA Gymnastics. Their 197.550 total marked a massive 2.3-point improvement from their subpar opening meet in week one.

UCLA Head Coach Janelle McDonald was floored by her team’s effort in Oklahoma City. “I am so proud of this team,” McDonald recounted. “Turning the page from last week was really important. With everything going on in LA, to compete with so much heart and so much joy was special to see.”

Earlier that evening, Jade Carey took to the floor in a dual meet with her Oregon State Beavers. Carey continued her winning ways from week one, clinching an all-around win and sweeping the event titles to lead the Beavers over No. 22 BYU. Fans (and judges) swooned over her 9.95 bar routine, which included one of the highest double layout dismounts in the business. Carey’s all-around score (39.725) matched the highest in the country thus far, sharing the accolade with Aleah Finnegan and Florida’s Leanne Wong.

Speaking of Leanne Wong, the star senior led the Florida Gators to a narrow (.025) win over Big Ten Champion Michigan State, posting the highest all-around score in the nation en route to wins on bars, beam, and floor.

Canadian Olympian Aurélie Tran delivered in her debut for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Though the Hawkeyes ultimately fell to in-state rival Iowa State, Tran collected two titles in her first NCAA meet, winning the all-around and bars.
