PHOENIX — The opening date of Target at Vineyard Towne Center in Queen Creek is set for Oct. 12, according to a press release.

The store will open at 8 a.m. on the upcoming Sunday and will be the second Target in Queen Creek.

Target will be 145,000 square feet at the shopping center, which is located 37854 N. Gantzel Road and was fully leased in July.

It’s hours will be from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

“There’s a lot of excitement surrounding Target’s arrival at Vineyard Towne Center,” Taylor Alvey, vice president of leasing at Vestar, said in the release. “By blending trusted national retailers like Target with a diverse mix of local shopping, dining and service providers, Vineyard Towne Center is becoming a true community destination for residents and visitors alike.”

The new store will create 160 jobs and have in-store offerings of a CVS Pharmacy, Disney Store, Apple Store and Starbucks.

Other retail stores in the Queen Creek center include Mattress Firm, Verizon, LifeQuest and Sprouts Farmers Market. Restaurants there include Five Guys, McDonald’s, Thai Chili 2Go, Over Easy and Cinnaholic.
