P. Terry’s Burger Stand is ready to begin vertical construction on its first location inside Houston’s Interstate 610 Loop.
The Austin-based company posed a video update on Instagram on Sept. 2 showing the site at 4815 Katy Freeway. It’s at the corner of Durham Drive and Interstate 10, north of the Washington Avenue corridor and south of the Heights.
“The site has officially been prepped for delivery of the building, which means if you’re driving by soon, you may see a brand-new P. Terry’s pop up overnight,” James Overton, construction manager for P. Terry’s, said in the video voiceover.

It will be the popular burger chain’s fifth Houston-area location when it opens in early 2027, Overton said.
P. Terry’s revealed plans for the location last year after entering the market in 2024. So far, the company has opened Houston-area locations at 9207 FM 723 near Fulshear, 20255 Champion Forest Drive near Tomball, 10305 W. Grand Parkway S. in the Aliana community off the western Grand Parkway and at 20103 Bridgeland Creek Parkway in Cypress.
