The North Austin suburb of Liberty Hill will soon welcome its own P. Terry’s restaurant in town, according to new project filings registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on Wednesday, October 21. Under current project timelines, construction is expected to begin in early January 2027 and run through late July 2027 as crews construct the approximately 4,056-square-foot eatery.
The upcoming restaurant comes with a budgeted construction cost of roughly $950,000, per TDLR filings. TDLR project documents are preliminary and both construction costs and timelines are estimates and subject to change.
P. Terry’s will join an existing commercial strip nestled at 10990 TX-29, Liberty Hill, TX 78642, where a Domino’s Pizza and Wag-A-Bag convenience store have already set up shop. It’ll also be located directly across the highway from two of Liberty Hill’s hottest new retail hubs that opened earlier this year: Target and a Costco Wholesale.
P. Terry’s has been a Central Texas staple for decades since first opening in Austin back in July 2005. Inspired by the burger stand aesthetics of the 1950s and 1960s, the local chain has since opened dozens of locations across the region, with expansions beyond the capital area into both San Antonio and Houston.
