PARK CITY, Utah (KUTV) — Businesses along Park City’s Main Street were evacuated Saturday afternoon following reports that a bomb had been planted inside the Egyptian Theater.

Lt. Danielle Snelson with the Park City Police Department said Summit County dispatchers received a call from an individual who claimed a bomb had been planted inside the business, located at 328 Main Street.

Police responded and evacuated multiple businesses on Main Street and Swede Alley. K-9 units trained in explosive detection conducted a sweep of the area and found nothing suspicious.

The businesses were cleared, and Main Street has since been reopened to traffic.

Lt. Snelson said this incident remains under investigation.
