On Nov. 7, PCH50 hosted its signature event, Off the Record, presented by Lerner and Rowe Gives Back with support from Constructor’s Bonding Inc., ICON National and Iron Horse Companies.
The event raised $1,512,322, bringing Off the Record’s cumulative total to $6.5 million for Phoenix Children’s since its launch in 2017.
According to a press release, the one-night event featured a live performance by country artist Jon Pardi, along with food and beverages from Chef Beau MacMillan and Mikis Troyan of Clive Collective. Guests sampled offerings from restaurants including CALA, The Americano, Ambiente Sedona and Royal Palms Resort at the Earnhardt Lexus showroom.
PCH50, also known as “The Fifty,” was founded by Steve Schnall, senior vice president and chief development officer for Phoenix Children’s Foundation, and Brent Gulbas, chief operating officer of National Restaurant Supply, with an initial group of 10 community leaders.
The organization’s mission is to engage 50 leaders in fundraising, volunteer efforts and awareness building for Phoenix Children’s.
“Each year, we’re inspired by the generosity and creativity of our community,” said Mr. Schnall. “Off the Record is a shining example of what can happen when passion meets purpose, and we can’t wait to see this event, and the impact of PCH50, reach even greater heights in the years ahead.”
Funds raised will support the DaVinci 5 Robot, which enhances Phoenix Children’s urology department’s robotic surgery capabilities, and the Behavioral Emergency Response Team, which provides behavioral health care to Arizona children.
Event chairs included Sam Grooms and Nick Sykora, along with Mr. Kory Leadon, PCH50 president. Presenting sponsors were Lerner and Rowe Gives Back, Constructor’s Bonding Inc., ICON National and Iron Horse Companies.
