Police officers were in pursuit Thursday of a stolen vehicle that started near downtown Los Angeles.
The driver sped through the northbound 101 Freeway around 8:45 p.m. before transitioning to the 10 Freeway, where several patrol cars trailed behind.
The silver two-door hatchback exited the 5 Freeway and drove through surface streets in the Cyprus Park area.
The chase came to an end on Riverside Drive along the 5 Freeway after the LAPD executed a successful PIT maneuver. The driver came out of the vehicle and was arrested.
