NEW YORK – Texas A&M’s Ny’Ceara Pryor signed a rookie scale contract with the New York Liberty Wednesday, the franchise announced.

Training camp officially begins Sunday, April 19. Pryor joins Aicha Coulibaly and Chennedy Carter as Aggies who are currently on a WNBA roster, as Coulibaly signed a rookie scale contract with the Chicago Sky and Carter signed a training camp contract with the Las Vegas Aces earlier this week.

The 2026 All-SEC Second Team selection participated in the 2026 Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game where she had 13 points, four assists and four steals. She was also a 2026 Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Semifinalist.

Pryor was the first player this century to average at least 16.0 points, 7.0 assists and 3.5 steals per game during a season and is the only player in DI history to record 2,200 points, 550 assists and 450 steals in a career.

The Baltimore native was also the first player for the program to be named to the SEC All-Defensive Team in 10 years after leading the conference in steals per game and total steals (54) during league play. Pryor was just the third player in SEC history to have multiple steals in all 16 conference games.

Pryor is tied for 14th all-time in steals (454) and led the country twice in steals per game (2023, 2025). The senior led the nation this season in double-doubles with points and assists with eight and was also the first SEC player since Y2K to record four-straight points and assists double-doubles in conference play.
