One of the greatest freestyle wrestlers ever is headed to Real American Freestyle.
RAF announced Thursday it signed Jordan Burroughs, widely considered one of the greatest freestyle wrestlers ever. Terms nor duration of the deal was revealed, though the promotion said Burroughs will debut Aug. 22 at RAF 12 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland. No opponent has been named at this time. The event will stream on Fox Nation.
Burroughs, 37, is a 2012 Olympic gold medalist at 74kg (163.1 pounds) and a six-time world champion. He’s also a two-time NCAA champion at University of Nebraska and Don Hodge Trophy recipient. He joins an ever-expanding roster of wrestling and MMA notables on the RAF roster.
