A Raiders offense that seemingly found its groove last week against the Jaguars will face the third-best defense in the league this Thursday. The Broncos, who have recorded a league-high 40 sacks, are allowing an average 279.9 yards and just 18.4 points per game. The unit was stout against Houston in Week 9, holding the Texans to 3-of-17 on third down and limiting them to five field goals, marking the fourth game this season in which the Broncos did not allow their opponent to score a touchdown.
“Their defense is very fast,” Head Coach Pete Carroll said. “Plays very fast, plays aggressively. A lot of man to man. They’re trying to cover you up and lock you down. A really good four-man rush with a good pressure package to go along with it. They’re hot as can be right now.”
As the Raiders head to Empower Field at Mile High, they’ll look to break not only the Broncos’ six-game win streak, but another home-based streak. Denver owns the longest active home winning streak in the league with nine straight wins (dating back to Week 8, 2024).
