A popular fast-casual chicken restaurant could be coming to West Midtown.
The new Raising Cane’s is expected to open in spring 2026 at a site currently occupied by Krystal, Atlanta Business Chronicle reports. Locations are also planned for Duluth, McDonough, Cumming, Conyers and Kennesaw.
The company has expressed plans to open at least 10 locations in metro Atlanta. There are several Raising Cane’s restaurants open now in Georgia: in Athens, Snellville, Dacula, Buford and Woodstock. There have also been talks of Raising Cane’s coming to Dunwoody.
Todd Graves founded Raising Cane’s in 1996 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The company now has more than 800 restaurants across 41 states. According to the company, they are currently not focused on franchising new locations and are instead focusing on the rapid development of company-owned restaurants in specific markets.
The menu includes chicken fingers, chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast and coleslaw – plus the signature Cane’s sauce.
The proposed West Midtown location would be at the corner of 14th Street and Northside Drive. Other fast-food restaurants in the vicinity include Cook Out, Chick-fil-A and Burger King.
