#Broncos QB Bo Nix in the fourth quarter:

16-of-25, 174 yards, two touchdowns and a 111.1 quarterback rating.

Also had three rushes for 46 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

— Aric DiLalla (@AricDiLalla) October 19, 2025

The Denver Broncos (5-2) ARE IN SOLE FIRST PLACE IN THE AFC WEST!! After an absolute IMPROBABLE COMEBACK, scoring 33 points in the fourth quarter, the Broncos beat the New York Giants (2-4) 33-32 in the most seemingly impossible, wonderful, amazing, comeback!

On a day where it was about DT, the Denver Broncos pulled out a win for the ages! 46 combined fourth quarter points. A complete meltdown from the Giants. Bo Nix leads a comeback not even seen in the John Elway era. I’ve run out of superlatives for this!

THE BRONCOS ARE IN FIRST PLACE!!

Here’s a recap of Sunday’s wild game.

THE BRONCOS WIN!!!!

Say all you want, but the Broncos pulled this one out of a hat! ABSOLUTE MAGIC LONG LIVE DT!!!!!!

30 seconds is an eternity. Nix could still get it done, but it’ll take a miracle. Is it too little too late?

A Riley Moss pass interference and a Sean Payton unsportsmanlike penalty puts the ball at the Denver 1 with 40 seconds. Dart takes it in himself. Giants 32-Broncos 30. A missed extra point gives the Broncos hope for a win!

Bo Nix takes it in himself! It is now Broncos 30-26. It is now up to the Denver defense! GET A STOP!! The Giants need a touchdown to win.

This is some Demaryius Thomas magic

— MileHighReport (@MileHighReport) October 19, 2025

The Broncos are driving… on the Giant 18 with 1:56 left! Can they create a little Mile High Magic?

Marvin Mims comes up absolutely clutch in this game, with a 31-yard catch to get Denver into field goal territory.

The Denver defense holds! A field goal ties… And the offense has a chance to win with 2:42 left!

The Broncos get yet another touchdown, this one is at 26-23, with 3:51 and two timeouts! We’ve got a game!

The Broncos show life on defense! Justin Strnad picks off Jaxson Dart, and the Broncos are in business at the Giant 18! Nix and the offense look to take over again.

Oh my goodness, what was Jaxson Dart doing?

The greatest Christmas gift the Broncos could get and it came on October 19.

It’s NOT over

— Andrew Mason (@MaseDenver) October 19, 2025

The Broncos get another score, to make it look more respectable, at 26-16. The Broncos have three timeouts, about five minutes left. Bo Nix scrambles for the score, and Denver gets the two-point conversion.

A deflection from the Broncos gets the Giants a huge touchdown. 26-8 Giants. It’s not over until the fat lady sings, but it is feeling pretty done at this point. With the offense performing this badly to this point, they would have to get a touchdown, two pointer, turnover, touchdown and then some. Just doesn’t feel realistic at this point.

This time the Giants get a huge bounce off a receiver for a touchdown. In Franco Harris fashion, it’s a 41-yard TD pass to Theo Johnson. Giants lead 26-8

— Chris Tomasson (@christomasson) October 19, 2025

A deflected touchdown to Troy Franklin gives Denver its first spark of life since the 15:00 mark of the first quarter. A Courtland Sutton two-point conversion gives Denver eight points. A long way to go still. 11 points down, the Broncos trail 19-8.

Nix with a ricochet 2-yard TD pass to Franklin.
Nix with 2-point pass to Sutton.
Giants 19
Broncos 8
14:08 4Q

— MikeKlis9NEWS (@mikeklis9news) October 19, 2025

A big pass from Nix to Sutton and a 32-yard rush by J.K. Dobbins puts the Broncos in the red zone for the second time today. Can they punch it in? One more quarter to go.

The Broncos defense can’t touch Giants running back Tyrone Tracy, and it’s a 19-point lead for the visitors. Absolute gut punch, in a game where it feels like Denver’s been punched 100 times. Nothing doing for the home team.

Tyrone Tracy scores on 31-yard touchdown run. Giants fail 2-point try, now lead the Broncos 19-0 with 17:41 remaining in the game.

— Jon Heath (@ByJonHeath) October 19, 2025

That might do it. Gaping hole as Giants rush for easy TD. To play like this on this day is an all-time egg. #Broncos trail 19-0 w 2:41 left in third. Between the poor execution, poor play calling, drops and penalties, it is hard to see how offense can make this a game. I would go…

— Troy Renck (@TroyRenck) October 19, 2025

The Broncos’ offensive ineptitude rears its ugly head yet again; seventh punt of the game puts the Giants at the 42.

A 4-2 team can’t look this bad… can they?

Boos loud after that three-and-out. A Nix fumble, recovered by himself, and two incompletions, one of which was a drop by Engram. Just a terrible series.

4.98 seconds of hang time on Crawshaw’s punt. 62 yards gross, 48 net.

— Andrew Mason (@MaseDenver) October 19, 2025

The Broncos are having a rough time against New York; penalties have been a backbreaker on a listless day. Jaxson Dart gets hurt on a sack from Dondrea Tillman, but doesn’t go out.

Not a smart play by Jaxson Dart. Could’ve thrown away, instead Giants out of FG range.

Dondrea Tillman gets his first sack of the year.

— Luca Evans (@bylucaevans) October 19, 2025

The Broncos are not doing well on offense. They look anemic as they begin the second half with another punt. They have not had anything good happen, with the exception of the throw from Nix to Sutton to get the offense inside the 5. Credit to the Giants defense, as they have played lights out.

— DNVR Broncos (@DNVR_Broncos) October 19, 2025

The Broncos will honor the Super Bowl 50 team, and Demaryius Thomas, but this effort has been less than inspiring. Boo birds rain down on the team as they jog into the tunnel. 30 minutes to go.

Broncos trail Giants 13-0 at halftime.

Bo Nix: 9/19, 82 yards
J.K. Dobbins: 7 carries for 18 yards

Denver has 5 penalties for 35 lost yards (New York has 2 penalties for seven lost yards).

Broncos will honor Demaryius Thomas and Super Bowl 50 team, then get ball to start Q3.

— Jon Heath (@ByJonHeath) October 19, 2025

The Giants have been smoking the Broncos early on, and their 10 days rest have been the difference in the game so far. How the Broncos respond in the next 32 minutes will show the NFL if Denver is a contender or a pretender.

After a huge play from Nix to Sutton, the Broncos come away empty, leaving the game at 13-0. A tackle-eligible play from Nix to left tackle Garett Bolles could have produced points, but a tipped ball made it a moot point.

A huge play from Nix to Sutton gets Denver inside the 5, with just under four minutes to go in the second.

A drive which gets into Giants territory, Nix gets a first down with his legs, giving Denver a first down.

The Giants have a two touchdown lead on Denver. A Jaxson Dart touchdown to Cam Skattebo gives the Giants a big lead in Denver. The offense NEEDS to get going. The lone bright spot? A missed extra point.

Dump down pass on third-and-11 to Skatteboo, and he rumbles in for score. Singleton got blocked, and McMillian stayed too high on tackle. As bad as the last three quarters were in London, this is worse because #Broncos are at home. They are the first team west of Mississippi not…

— Troy Renck (@TroyRenck) October 19, 2025

The Broncos have had their trio of stars, Jonathon Cooper, Nik Bonitto and Pat Surtain all have offsides penalties.

Third offsides of the afternoon against the #Broncos defense — second accepted — wipes a third-down stop off the board and will give the Giants another crack at it in the red zone.

Cooper, Surtain and Bonitto have all bee in the neutral zone.

— Parker Gabriel (@ParkerJGabriel) October 19, 2025

Was it a mistake to not have a bye after London? It is certainly looking that way thus far.

Let me know if you’ve heard this before: Denver punts and New York gets the ball back. Denver’s defense needs a turnover here.

The defense has certainly done its part, giving the offense back the ball in short time. Nix and the offense come back at the 32.

The Broncos have not started quickly on offense. Marvin Mims has been the entirety of the Denver offense so far, but one busted defensive coverage has the Blue Gang up seven. Can the Broncos get something on offense going?

Nix was sacked, and the offense stalled once again, leading to fans at Empower Field to begin to rain boos down on the team. The “fast starts” have not exactly been in big supply. The defense hits the field again.

RJ Harvey took the ensuing kickoff, but stepped out at the Denver 6. The offense has a long way to go.

Another special teams blunder. Not sure what RJ Harvey was thinking there. And now the Broncos blow a timeout because they don’t have the right personnel on the field.

This is ugly.

— Nick Kosmider (@NickKosmider) October 19, 2025

A busted coverage leads to a Giants touchdown, a long pass from Jaxson Dart to Daniel Bellinger. The Broncos are playing from behind.

The Broncos have three crucial defensive penalties on the first few drives of the game. Two big penalties, one by Zach Allen and one by Pat Surtain kept this Giants drive going.

The Broncos get their first first down of the game, but are forced to punt after. Giants ball after a 41-yard punt by Jeremy Crawshaw.

After 10 days away, the Giants look a bit shaky out of the gate, punting for the second straight drive.

Dart’s third-down pass is off the mark, and it’s a quick three-and-out hold for the Broncos’ defense.

Denver’s second drive set to begin at the 15-yard line.

— Aric DiLalla (@AricDiLalla) October 19, 2025

A theme this season has been a Bronco three-and-out on their first drive. The defense takes the field once again.

4.66 seconds of hang time for Jeremy Crawshaw on his punt after the three-and-out. Three passes, three incompletions.

The three incompletions took 15 seconds. The punt play took seven seconds.

— Andrew Mason (@MaseDenver) October 19, 2025

The left guard position has been up in question, until Garett Bolles let it slip earlier this week that Alex Palczewski would get the start at guard.

Alex Palczewski is indeed the starting guard.

— Nick Kosmider (@NickKosmider) October 19, 2025

Zach Allen and Nik Bonitto forced heavy pressure on Dart, forcing a punt of the Giants. Bo Nix and the Broncos take over at the 20 for their first go.

The Broncos will open up the game on defense, getting their first look at Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo. Denver will receive the second half kickoff.

Greenlaw will see his first game action of the 2025 season, as he is introduced with the starting defense. The Broncos look to stop the Giants in the Mile High City on Sunday.

The Broncos defense is on a historic sack pace. Can they stop the Giants’ duo of Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo?

Giants long snapper Casey Kreiter was a teammate of Demaryius Thomas in Denver; as the Broncos honor Thomas, Kreiter wore Thomas’ 8 from Georgia Tech, a nod to a franchise great.

— Jordan Raanan (@JordanRaanan) October 19, 2025

Hall of Famer Peyton Manning arrived to help celebrate the legacy of the Super Bowl 50 team. Manning’s final game was Super Bowl 50.

In the midst of what is surely to be an emotional day, former teammate of Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders will address the Empower Field crowd at halftime on Thomas’ behalf.

Demaryius Thomas was honored pregame, and will be honored at halftime with the rest of the Super Bowl 50 champions. Thomas’ Ring of Fame bust sits right next to Peyton Manning, a quarterback who threw him so many passes during his time in Denver.

An emotional Peyton Manning on having his Ring of Fame pillar next to Demaryius Thomas’:

“It means a lot. We were close. … That means a great deal.”

Manning said their names will also be next to each other in the Ring of Fame in the stadium.

— Aric DiLalla (@AricDiLalla) October 19, 2025

We’re getting closer to kickoff!

Denver’s inactive players today are RB Jaleel McLaughlin, OLB Jonah Elliss (shoulder), DL Jordan Jackson, DL Sai’vion Jones and newly-signed DB J.T. Gray. That means Tyler Badie has returned to RB3 duties.

#Broncos inactives: outside linebacker Jonah Elliss (shoulder), running back Jaleel McLaughlin, defensive lineman Jordan Jackson, safety J.T. Gray and defensive lineman Sai’vion Jones. https://t.co/ixxCG3kSuq

— Broncos Wire (@TheBroncosWire) October 19, 2025

ILB Dre Greenlaw is not only active today but he’s starting for the #Broncos defense, per source.

Right into action for No. 57.

— Parker Gabriel (@ParkerJGabriel) October 19, 2025

Greenlaw is back from injured reserve and set to make his Denver debut — as a starter!

A perfect fit ahead of today’s special game.

After unveiling his Ring of Fame pillar on Sunday morning, Denver will unveil DT’s Ring of Fame façade at halftime of Sunday’s game.

Bring on kickoff!

Denver honored members of the Super Bowl 50 team on Saturday evening. They will be recognized again at halftime of Sunday’s game.

After facing the Giants on Sunday, the Broncos will host the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8.
