Fort Worth, Texas – Recovery Resource Council (the Council) will host the 37th Annual Clifton Morris & Jim Bradshaw Memorial Stars in Recovery Luncheon on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at River Ranch Stockyards, located at 500 NE 23rd Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76164. This long-standing event will bring together more than 300 community members, advocates, and supporters to raise awareness and funds for the critical recovery services offered by the Council. A longtime supporter of the Council, Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker will serve as Honorary Chair again for this year’s event.

Since its inception in 1989, the Stars in Recovery Luncheon has featured renowned celebrities and public figures who share their personal stories of overcoming alcohol, substance use, and mental health challenges. This year’s event will feature former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Quincy Carter, who will participate in an exclusive fireside chat discussing his journey to mental health and substance-free living. Carter’s candid conversation will highlight the power of resilience and perseverance in the recovery process.

Funds raised during the luncheon will directly support the Council’s mission to promote wellness and recovery from disorders relating to alcohol, substance use, trauma, and mental health. The Council’s programs provide life-changing services to individuals and families affected by these challenges. Table sponsorships for the event are available starting at $1,500, and individual tickets are priced at $250 with limited availability.

“We are thrilled to welcome Quincy Carter to this year’s luncheon and are grateful for his willingness to share his inspiring story,” said Eric Niedermayer, Chief Executive Officer of Recovery Resource Council. “The funds raised will ensure we can continue to provide essential recovery services to individuals and families in need. We hope our community will join us in supporting this important cause.”
