METUCHEN, N.J. — Members of the MMA Collective in Red Hook took four gold and seven silver medals in the Good Fight NJ Summer Classic on Saturday, July 25 at the SportsPlex at Metuchen, New Jersey.
The annual amateur Jiu Jitsu and submission-only grappling featured gi and no-gi divisions for all ages and skill levels.
The MMA Collective also won the teen trophy for the adult gi and no-gi divisions and will advance to a world competition in December.
Earning gold medals were Justin Angier, Sofia Grande, Luca Dicarlo and James Wagner, earning qualification for the upcoming world competition.
