IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference has announced linebacker Reid Carrico as one of this week’s Defensive Players of the Week.
The Ironton, Ohio native tallied 16 tackles, including 2 solos, marking a career high, and the most by a Mountaineer defender since Oct. 28, 2017, when David Long Jr. had 18 tackles against Oklahoma State. Carrico also led the defense in tackles for the first time in his Mountaineer career.
