The roadway will be closed to all through traffic between Sunset Dr. and Bales Rd. beginning on Monday, October 28, 2024, and expected to be completed by Friday, November 8, 2024. Image for illustration purposes

As the City of McAllen moves forward with the Quinta Mazatlán Center for Urban Ecology project, storm infrastructure construction will cause a road closure along Old S. 10th St.

The roadway will be closed to all through traffic between Sunset Dr. and Bales Rd. beginning on Monday, October 28, 2024, and expected to be completed by Friday, November 8, 2024.

Motorists are urged to find alternate routes during the road closure and exercise extreme caution and patience when traveling along in the area.  Motorists should expect some delays and congestion.
