Rochester’s International Plaza looking for vendors for 2026 season

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Want your business to be at the International Plaza? The City of Rochester is currently looking for vendors for the 2026 season.

Businesses and people are being invited to submit an application to be a vendor for the season, which runs from May to October. Click here to find the application.

If picked, vending structures will be required to fill out a full application and give all provided certifications and documentation.

For permanent vending structures, the vendors will be required to be open every Sunday 1-5 p.m. from May through October. They will also be required to be open a minimum of 20 hours per week on Wednesdays through Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The city says the following vending opportunities are available for the 2026 season:

  • One (1) Kiosk (8′ x 20′) with power: Can be used to serve prepared foods or for food retail.
  • Three (3) Small Retail Kiosks (8′ x 8′) with power: Can be used only for non-food retail; will be rented for 3-month periods at a time during the season (May to July and August to October).
  • Daily tent-vending opportunities for prepared foods, produce and farm products, arts-and-crafts merchandise, and general merchandise.

On Friday from 4-5 p.m., plaza leadership will host an in-person vendor interest session at the Ibero Action Development Corporation Offices on Portland Avenue.

About the International Plaza

Rochester’s International Plaza is a Latin-themed event and market space that has various vendors, events, artists, performers, and more.

The first event scheduled at the plaza this season is on Sunday, May 3, for the plaza’s opening ceremony. The Sunday after that, May 10, the plaza will host a Mother’s Day Celebration.

Here is a list of events at the International Plaza for the 2026 season: (all on Sunday’s from 1-5 p.m.)

  • May 3 – Opening Ceremony
  • May 10 – Mother’s Day Celebration
  • May 24 – Memorial Day Block Party
  • June 21 – Juneteenth Celebration with Grand Tone and Evans Buntley
  • June 28 – Ibero Pride Day
  • July 11 – ROC con Poder (Signature Event)
  • August 16 – Dominican Day (Signature Event) 
  • August 23 – International Day of Salsa (Signature Event) 
  • August 30 – Back to School Event
  • Hispanic Heritage Month Kickoff
  • September 19 – Fringe Festival with Europa
  • October 11 – Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration & Plaza Closing
