]Mr. Theut brings experience in estate and trust litigation, estate and trust administration, guardianship and conservatorship litigation, and professional fiduciary representation. He has represented successor trustees, personal representatives, beneficiaries and fiduciaries in probate disputes.
“Probate, trust, and other fiduciary matters are becoming more complex and more common across the state,” James Theut, chair of Rose Law Group’s Probate Law Department, said. “Clients need counsel who can guide the administration of trusts and estates, provide candid cost-benefit advice, and litigate contested matters when disputes cannot be resolved. I’m excited to join Rose Law Group and bring the firm’s depth, resources, and full-service platform to my clients.”
Prior to joining Rose Law Group, Mr. Theut practiced probate, trust and estate planning law at several firms in the Phoenix area. His work has included estate and trust administration, estate controversy matters, fiduciary issues and estate planning.
Mr. Theut is admitted to practice in Arizona, Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. He is a member of the Scottsdale Bar Association, Maricopa County Bar Association and American Bar Association. Mr. Theut was recently appointed judge pro tempore for Maricopa County Superior Court.
“Families and fiduciaries are increasingly facing complicated estate and trust issues that require both practical guidance and strong advocacy,” Mr. Theut said. “I’m excited to join Rose Law Group and build a probate practice that provides compassionate counsel while helping clients protect their interests and achieve meaningful resolutions.”
The addition of Mr. Theut expands Rose Law Group’s private-client services practice and complements the firm’s work in estate planning, asset protection, business succession planning and wealth transfer strategies. Together, those services help clients prepare for the future and address estate and trust disputes when they arise.
