Jackson Walker is pleased to congratulate Peter E. Hosey on his election as a fellow of the San Antonio Bar Foundation (SABF). Fellows of the Foundation are selected for their professional achievements and commitment to the legal community. As a Fellow, Peter will contribute to expanding civics education, ensuring equal access to justice, and supporting the development of future leaders in San Antonio.
Selection as a fellow of the SABF is an exclusive honor, limited to members of the San Antonio Bar Association (SABA) who are in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Each year, the Fellows Nomination Committee selects one-third of 1% of SABA members to become fellows of the Foundation. All nominations are then confirmed by the SABF Board of Trustees.
Established in 1985, the Fellows Program comprises more than 650 members across three levels of membership: Fellows, Life Fellows, and Sustaining Life Fellows. Fellows who fulfill their pledge of support become Life Fellows, and those who continue their support beyond this pledge achieve the status of Sustaining Life Fellows.
The San Antonio Bar Association, the largest bar organization in San Antonio, offers continuing legal education programs for the legal community and legal outreach initiatives for the public. The San Antonio Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the Association, has given over $1,000,000 in funding and sponsorship to local programs since its inception in 1984.
