INGLEWOOD, Calif. (KABC) — A security guard threatened to call immigration enforcement on a group of concertgoers at SoFi Stadium, and it was all caught on video.
Eyewitness News obtained video of the heated dispute, which is getting a lot of attention online. It shows a group of people arguing with multiple workers.
It happened during a Los Bukis concert last Friday at SoFi Stadium. A security guard is heard in the video threatening to call immigration agents on a group of concertgoers who appear to be Latino.
“Don’t put words in my mouth. Don’t put words in my mouth. Yeah, before I call ICE,” the security guard can be heard saying before walking away.
The video was posted on TikTok, where it has amassed tens of thousands of views.
It’s unclear what the initial disagreement was about, but there’s roughly two minutes of video leading up to the moment where the woman threatened to call ICE. At one point, Dalena Trevino, the woman recording the video, says, “They’re not letting us go to the bathroom.”
Hollywood Park, the development where SoFi Stadium is located, says it does not tolerate that type of behavior and tells Eyewitness News that the woman seen in the video will no longer be working events at Hollywood Park, including SoFi Stadium. They also noted that the woman was a third-party employee.
“The individual involved in this incident was an employee of a third-party service provider and is no longer working at Hollywood Park. We do not tolerate this type of behavior,” Hollywood Park’s statement read.
Eyewitness News reached out to her employer, CSC Security, about the incident and the woman’s employment, but is still waiting to hear back.
