Elections for a West Lake Hills City Council seat and three alderman seats in the Village of Briarcliff are on the local ballot for some voters this May.
Newcomers Margaret Moore and David Kaufman are facing off for Place 2, with Moore earning 79.6% of the votes as of voting totals released by Travis County at 9:15 p.m.
Voting totals for the Village of Briarcliff alderman election for three seats were unchanged as of the latest update, with incumbents Jo Ann Richmond, Linda Aldrich and Mark Charlesworth leading in the race.

Village of Briarcliff
There are eight candidates vying for three alderman seats in the Village of Briarcliff, including:
- Jo Ann Richmond (incumbent)
- Robert Michel
- Alicia Keene
- Mark Charlesworth (incumbent)
- Mike Jones
- Mark DeZeeuw
- Linda Aldrich (incumbent)
- Jason Conley
Travis County early voting totals show incumbents Richmond, Aldrich and Charlesworth are in the lead with 24.8%, 22.4% and 15.8% of the vote, respectively.
