Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the OKC Thunder will host Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics at 8:30 p.m. CT Thursday.

OKC (51-15) outlasted the Denver Nuggets for a 129-126 home win on Monday. Boston (43-22) fell short in a 125-116 road loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday.

Gilgeous-Alexander will look to make history. He’s tied with Wilt Chamberlain for the all-time longest streak of 20-point performances (126 games).

There it is. OKC’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has surpassed Wilt Chamberlain for the longest streak of 20-point games in NBA history (127). A record that has gone untouched since 1963 now belongs to SGA.

Thunder vs Celtics predictions, picks

Justin Martinez: OKC 122, Boston 115

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander arguably delivered the best regular-season performance of his career during a win over Denver, and Ajay Mitchell looked as sharp as ever despite missing 20 straight games. Now, the Thunder is getting back two elite defenders in Chet Holmgren and Alex Caruso. OKC is picking up some serious momentum, and I expect it to keep rolling on Thursday with a home win over a Boston team that has Jayson Tatum and Derrick White listed as questionable.
