Someburros, an Arizona fast-casual Mexican restaurant, opened the doors of its first Buckeye location on June 19. Located on 920 N. Verrado Way, the new West Valley location features signature menu items that have made Someburros an Arizona staple for nearly 40 years.
“We are beyond excited to bring the same love and care that started Someburros almost 40 years ago to the Buckeye community,” Tim Vasquez, owner and president of Someburros, said. “As this community continues to thrive, we’re honored to contribute to its growth by serving up time-honored flavors and creating a welcoming space for families, friends, local businesses and neighbors to come together.”
Buckeye guests can enjoy made-to-order burros, tacos, chimichangas and specialty combos at Someburros.
The highly anticipated opening in Buckeye marks a major milestone for the local, family-owned and operated restaurant, as it brings its Sonoran-style Mexican food to one of the Valley’s fastest growing communities.
Buckeye guests can enjoy made-to-order burros, tacos, chimichangas and specialty combos at the new location. Crowd favorites include Nana Isabel’s famous green chili beef and refried beans, or their most popular menu item, the Pollo Fundido. Someburros serves breakfast all day, including fresh cracked-egg breakfast burros, tacos and plates like Huevos Rancheros and La Sonrisa Enchiladas, as well as fresh brewed coffee and conchas.
As summer heats up, patrons can enjoy Someburros’ refreshing and hugely popular frozen margaritas, available for both dine-in or to-go.
Someburros’ family legacy began in Tempe in 1986, when the Vasquez family opened their first location, sharing traditional Sonoran-style recipes passed down through generations. With Someburros Buckeye now being the 17th location, Someburros continues to blend its rich heritage with modern conveniences, including dine-in service, a drive-thru and a mobile app for advanced ordering, loyalty rewards and catering.
The Buckeye location begins service with the drive-thru opening at 7 a.m. and the dining room opening at 9 a.m. — for more information, visit
