SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs announced leathermaker Bexar Goods as a private label merchandising brand, according to a news release from the team.

Bexar Goods had closed its doors earlier this year after 14 years in operation. The company had previously collaborated with the Spurs on five premium collections.

“Bringing Bexar Goods into the Spurs family feels like being welcomed home,” said Falcon Rubio-Schoenfelt, co-founder of the original Bexar Goods. “The Spurs have been a big part of our lives and San Antonio’s culture. Our community made this possible, and we’re grateful to have you with us on this next journey.”

The venture marks the first time an NBA team has converted an existing brand into a team-affiliated label, the release said.

Bexar Goods founders Falcon Rubio-Schoenfelt, Guy Rubio and Christian Craft will remain in a consulting capacity.

“When we learned Bexar Goods was closing its doors and saw the outpouring of support from the San Antonio community, mirroring our own sentiments about the brand, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with Falcon, Christian and Guy to ensure it lived on,” said Andre Moyce, associate director of retail strategy.

Apparel items, including shirts and hoodies with the Spurs and Bexar Goods labels, are available online or at the team’s fan shops. Leather goods will be available closer to the start of the 2025-2026 season, the release said.

With this launch, the Spurs are now the 14th NBA organization with in-house private label brands. Select retailers will also carry Bexar Goods products in-store, with more information to come on this announcement.
