A winter storm is causing flight delays and cancellations at Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Here is a list of affected flights.
Update, 2:15 p.m.: Reno-Tahoe International Airport is seeing more flight cancellations amid a winter storm that continues to dump snow into the area.
The number of cancelled flights at the Reno airport has grown from two cancellations early in the day to seven as of 2:15 p.m.
Here is a list of cancelled flights from the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority:
- Delta 4106: The flight was supposed to depart at 7 a.m. for Los Angeles.
- United 5899: The flight was supposed to depart at 10:45 a.m. for San Francisco.
- United 5394: The flight was supposed to arrive at 10:01 a.m. from San Francisco.
- Alaska 601: The flight was supposed to depart from Seattle at 12:37 p.m.
- United 4779: The flight was supposed to depart at 10:45 a.m. for San Francisco at 2:45 p.m.
- United 5707: The flight was supposed to arrive from San Francisco at 2:10 p.m.
- Delta 3902: The flight was supposed to depart at 3:05 p.m. for Los Angeles.

Reno-Tahoe International Airport is seeing several flight delays and cancellations as a winter storm makes its way through the region.
United has cancelled two San Francisco flights as of Tuesday morning. Delays are also impacting flights to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Denver.
“Even though winter weather has brought snow to the region, (Reno-Tahoe International Airport) remains operational and our snow removal crews are actively working to keep the airfield clear and safe,” a spokesperson for the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority said.
“Weather conditions may still lead to flight delays or cancellations.”
As of 11 a.m., the airport arrival and departure schedule is showing several delays. Of those, four are directly related to the weather, according to the airport.
Here is the full list of flight cancellations and delays at the Reno airport so far:
- United Airlines 5899: The flight was supposed to depart at 10:45 a.m. for San Francisco.
- United Airlines 5394: The flight was supposed to arrive at 10:01 a.m. from San Francisco.
Some flights for Alaska, Delta, Southwest and United are also seeing delays ranging between an hour and up to eight hours.
Here is a list of delayed departures at the Reno airport that have been confirmed so far:
- Delta 4106: Now departing for Los Angeles at 2:56 p.m. instead of 7 a.m.
- Alaska 3252: Was rescheduled from its original 7:30 a.m. departure time to San Diego.
- Southwest 1384: Now departing for Denver at 11:10 a.m. instead of 9 a.m.
- United 1829: Now departing for Denver at noon instead of 9:06 a.m.
- Southwest 4185: Now departing for Denver at 4:10 p.m. instead of 2:35 p.m.
- United 4779: Now departing for San Francisco at 3:40 p.m. instead of 2:45 p.m.
- Southwest 2134: Now departing for Las Vegas at 7:13 p.m. instead of 3:50 p.m.
- Southwest 4218: Now departing for Las Vegas at 7:43 p.m. instead of 4:55 p.m.
Arrivals are also seeing delays at the Reno airport. Here is a list of delayed arrivals so far:
- Southwest 4185: Now arriving from Las Vegas at 3:30 p.m. instead of 1:55 p.m.
- United 5707: Now arriving from San Francisco at 3:10 p.m. instead of 2:10 p.m.
- Southwest 1577: Now arriving from Phoenix at 6:38 p.m. instead of 3:15 p.m.
- Southwest 3194: Now arriving from Denver at 7:08 p.m. instead of 4:20 p.m.
“Passengers are encouraged to confirm their flight status directly with their airline and review the latest travel updates on renoairport.com before departing for the airport,” the airport spokesperson said.
